Lazy ED CANABIANS

Brook
June 11, 2000

Brook below on September 7, 2004 and at right with neighbour Emily Stearns (12) on board and her mom Dorothy on lead (March 17, 2004)

Brook embodies a number of objectives of our breeding program.  She has many Arabian characteristics as well as the calmness and disposition of the Canadien Horse.  The Arabians excellent feet have been augmented by the strength and size of Canadien feet and heavier bone.  She is a bit heavier than her Arabian cousins in the September picture, probably a lack of work and good pasture to some degree, but the March pictures show that she can slim down well when working and with less feed.

Her trainer was very impressed with her and offered the attached letter unprompted.  (Letter)  Brook is an excellent horse for any level of rider.
